Hi, I’m Scott Thomson
Scott is an investor and Virginia licensed Realtor focused on creating win-win strategies and outcomes for his clients and partners. He retired from the U.S. Army after 36 years of service. Scott has a passion for working with others in mutually beneficial ways. He takes seriously his responsibility for fulfilling his commitments to those with whom he partners, as real estate is a "team sport" and reputation matters more than short-term wins.
Moreso, the Army ingrained in Scott to always place duty and honor above personal gain. Scott's service ranged from enlisting as a Cavalry Scout, driving a Bradley Armored Reconnaissance vehicle through commanding an airborne Psychological Operations Battalion.
Immediately prior to retiring from the Army as a Colonel, Scott served as the Chief of Staff to the Deputy Principal Information Operations Advisor to the Secretary of Defense.
His education includes a B.S. in Exercise Science from Georgia State University, an M.A. in Communication Management from Webster University, an M.M.A.S. (Masters of Military Arts and Sciences) in Operational Art and Planning from the Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies, and a 1-year National Security Fellowship at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Scott's interests and hobbies include latin dance, scuba diving, travel, and wine.
